Not much to look at when you walk in (smelled like burnt toast and there was a haze in the air) but the food was delicious. Good portions, good quality, friendly service. No complaints. Would have eaten there 3 days in a row if I didn't want to be judged. Don't expect fancy flowers or tablecloths, if you just want good food it's a must try. Side Notes: -coffee was blah so if this is important to you beware -if you finish a stack of 8 pancakes you get your picture on the wall.

Great food and old style tradition. We had a truly great time. Bakery goods very nice!

Very long wait..to even get a table and to receive our food. No problems with the staff, but the restaurant itself was not very clean or inviting. Our table still had coffee rings and little pieces of food on it. Overall, the food was decent and not too expensive.

I've never had a truly great experience at Flip's but today takes the cake. My group waited 45 minutes before we walked out. Granted we had to wait almost 10 minutes until our whole group arrived, when she finally brought coffee. So we were okay with having a out meeting and sipping for another 10 minutes, but we still had not gotten menus!!! 30 minutes later we got menus, 15 minutes later we left. The food frankly is not worth it, it's standard diner food, nothing special at all. Rosie's in NB and David's Deli are far better, I'd even rather go up 12 to Viola's in three oaks who are awesome. When we walked out, so did another table. They have pretty good pancakes, but so does my kitchen at home. Never coming back, and I'm a local, so if I can't be persuaded to be a regular, you should just skip it altogether. Sidenote for the owner: HIRE MORE PEOPLE. You are way understaffed and your customers suffer. - you lost money today, just saying!!!

Service was outstanding! Awesome pancakes and Mexican burrito. Zero atmosphere. Quit food delivery.

Looked super clean and has a decent menu. Our orders were biscuits and gravy (bland) with eggs and bacon (over done), pancakes with strawberries and chocolate chips the 8 year old enjoyed, and steak (tough), eggs and potatoes (over cooked) and toast (burnt) so I'd say, overall it was not with $30 and taste was... meh. And somebody should tell the younger waitstaff that it helps to smile at your customers once in a while. Geez.

I am surprised by the poor ratings on here. We had Ashley as a waitress and she was great! The food was excellent too - make sure to get the ham - cut thick and nicely apple smoked.

Great food and fast, friendly service. A little on the pricier side but well worth it.

This place is horrible. It's a huge ugly building, with average food and horrible service. Never seen the owner, which is unfortunate since it's a small business. As small business owners ourselves, I really feel for these folks. They won't last long.

Didn't even try the food. Watched server lick her fingers at the food window, then pick up my burger bun. She tried to take out order twice. Brought drinks to table that wasn't ours. They ran out gift certificates to give us for reconciliation. They said they would contact us and never did. Horrible experience.

Stopped for breakfast on Memorial Day. Took 45 minutes after ordering to get food. Very short staffed for a holiday weekend. When the food was brought to our table, only two of the three orders were brought without our toast. Waited another 5 minutes for the third order and halfway through the meal they brought toast and it was wrong. Breakfast itself was good, but no need to wait so long for it. Not sure if we will return.
